Podcast reflection
I did my podcast on what the peace Corps does in the country of Africa. I chose this topic because i really care about Africa and I chose this organization because this is the organization i want to join. I chose the audience that i did because i think that everyone should know what other people around the world are doing to help others. I think they should also know the problems and diversities that other people have to live through in their daily lives. I really didnt have any specific organization for this project. I know your really suppose to but i just went with the flow and just made sure everything went together smoothly and made sense. In a way, i guess that sort of is organizing in general, but not detailed organization. I believe this is well-suited for the web reader because it reaches to the listener's emotions. It allows the listener to think about others and what there are doing to aid the people around the world. This also might help the reader want to help in someone too.

Podcast-revision of proposal
I've decided that i will thoroughly narrow down my podcast from three organizations to one. Instead of doing the Peace Corps, ICC, and U.N. and there effects on the crisis in Darfur; I've now decided to limit myself to the organization i plan to join in the future: the Peace Corps. I will discuss their involvement and what they do, and how they help in Darfur. I will try to provide opinions of the members and some experiences they have as well as my emotional and mental input on the situation in Darfur. For the final project i have decided to explain the Peace Corps in generalized terms, in other words, I will discuss what the Peace Corps does for the entire world and not just one centralized location. I hope my podcast is effective and entices people to want to take action in some way. In some instances I'm known for adequate public social skills when I'm discussing something that i love, cherish, care, and strive for in life. At times I am nervous because I dont like when people dont care about what im speaking about. I actually gave a speech in Comm 114 on Africa and someone (not specifying) showed no interest and basically was staring out the window and rolling their eyes everytime i elaborated on the information. It distracted me, made me feel like there was no purpose for my topic, and above all angered, bewildered, and frustrated me because it showed me the lack of curtosy for others well beings. I was offended that this person was inconsiderate to the people of Africa and the trauma and devastation they live with everyday. i could have care less about my feelings but when it comes to Africa and displaying an attitude of that nature toward my speech about it, i got really heated. So i hope my project will reach the audience and grasps their hearts, minds, and souls as well as show them what others are doing to help the horriffic crisis in Darfur.

Podcast
I'm going to discuss the top three organizations that have the most monumental impact on the situation Darfur. I'm not to sure if i should narrow it down from three organizations to two, or possibly one. That would be a a lot of information to gather for three so i'm proposing that i should narrow it down to two since I my closing assingments topic will focus on one. I believe in my topic and i care and love my topic. I want most of my life to be devouted to helping this country and hopefully many others an any way possible. My podcast will show my emotion, determination, and effort into this subject. These organizations have volunteered there life, time, love, gratification, hearts, souls, minds, and bodies into helping others either achieve, live, and find better oppurtunities in their lives. I want to dedicate my time to the Peace Corps because Africa has allowed me to see the good in everyone and that everyone deserves a chance to live a frutfull and happy life.
Reflection
I chose the genocide in Darfur because i love and care about Africa very much. I believe this is a serious problem that effects everyone because there people too and everyone deserves a good life. Everyone deserves to be happy and have a chance at living there life to the fullest potential. I plan on going to Africa after college to provide my assistance any way that is possible. I love Africa and i love seeing people happy so i want to try and make a difference in their lives.
